How do I keep myself and my little zombies safe?
There's strength in numbers. Especially undead numbers. But there are still a number of zombie rules and certain zombie etiquette you should follow to ensure every zombie completes the walk safely and without drawing the ire of the local police (or military, for that matter). Please review our Zombie Rules page!
How do I do zombie makeup?
Here's a helpful video!
Can I do my makeup before the zombie walk?
Yes! We will have a few tables and mirrors, and even limited amounts of makeup for people to use before the walk. However, get there early and start early! Last year we had a large line of people waiting for makeup, and it kept some zombies from walking with the group. At the very least, we recommend you do the zombie foundation (white and black... see video above) and then wait until you get to the walk to do the blood and gore.
Will there be makeup artists there to do my makeup for me?
We have a wonderful team of friendly zombie-teers who will be assisting with the makeup for the event. However, they can only do so much, so fast. They'll help with the basic foundation (again, see video) and will be happy to dump a bucket of blood on you, but don't expect any studio effects and there will be a line for their services! So get there early. And, again, do some touch up on your own, and let them help perfect it.
How much does it cost?
The Broad Ripple Zombie Walk is free of charge. Since you are becomming a zombie though, your taste for brains will make a lot of your canned and boxed food worthless to you, so we hope that you'll bring it to give to those in need. All zombies are asked to bring a food donation for Gleaner's food bank, and the most generous zombies will receive zombie gifts like t-shirts (while supplies last).
The Zombie Prom occurs after the Zombie Walk at Tru Nightclub and will be the only activity of the evening with a cost ($5 cover charge) and is for elder zombies only (21+).
Do I need to register?
Nope. You can just show up. Although if you have a large group, a little heads up would be nice. Shoot us an email at info@indymojo.com.
Where do we meet?
The Kroger in Broad Ripple: 6220 Guilford Avenue.
Can we park at Kroger?
The team at Kroger are being extremely generous by giving us nearly 1/4 of their parking lot for our hijinx. We ask that you please do not park at Kroger and reserve that space instead for their customers and seek parking on the side streets and paid lots around the area. And if you forget to bring canned food, you can always pick some up there!

How can I volunteer/perform/go above and beyond?
